Episode 253 Is Squid Games Real? What About Other Organ Donor Stories?

Good evening, it’s Spooky Boo. We are only one week away from Halloween when all of the fun starts and people are out with their kids trick-or-treating and having fun. Remember, Halloween is always on the 31st. It isn’t on the last Saturday of the month. it isn’t on the last Friday of the month. Halloween is the same every year, and there is a reason for this. You can’t hide from the spirits a weekend before the 31st for the two universes do not collide before or after the 31st. You have to do it on the 31st. The only time the universe collides every day is in Sandcastle. Be happy you don’t live here or you might not live at all. Or you might, if the spirits like you. If the vampires enslave you or the werewolves don’t notice you. If you have a priests or witch’s protection you might survive then as well. Or, you could just go on with your life and get lucky that you’re never spotted by one of the undead.

Do you want any of that to happen in your town? Then practice Halloween on the night it was meant to be done. The 31st of October.

Tonight I have for you stories about strange happenings going on around town. There have been reports of people waking up not all in one piece. There are stories of people being slaughtered for body parts or organs gambled away for fun.

Are these stories true? I’ll let you be the judge of that. The urban legends of organ theft has been circling the globe for quite some time.

Now let’s begin…

If you haven’t heard of the new series on Netflix called Squid Games then you’re in for a round of fun tonight. Squid Games is the new sensation in a series. It’s a South Korean show where people in debt are offered to have their debts paid by winning money. Of course, no one really tells them how they lose or what happens to them. All they are offered is that if they win the games and are not eliminated then they are given money.

If you haven’t seen it and you are going to then you might want to cover your ears. They never take into consideration the meaning the words terminated or eliminated when they sign the contracts and are forced into playing childhood games such as red light green light and tug of war. If they lose, they die. And what is worse than just dying? It seems their body organs are being harvested for money. I haven’t finished it yet so I don’t know what happens. The last game I just watch was tug of war. What an awful concept to know that you are the death of innocent people. They don’t know yet why the game is happening and I don’t know when they will find out.

Is any of this true? Probably not this specific incident, but I have heard of gambling games and criminal activity where people sell their own organs off or are abducted and their organs taken. There are a few urban legends going around about people who have had their organs taken by strangers or gangsters and then there are stories that are believed to be true. Either way the whole thing is very, very creepy.

I’m going to tell you of 9 stories that I have read or heard by others. Some of these are true and have been in the news while others maybe just be a rumor. I am not sure which ones are which. Maybe you might know.

Occurrence Number 1

The Story of Janice Raines…

It was a late October Halloween night. Janice had a blind date from one of those dating sites. Up until now she had two other unsuccessful dates from this website and she was giving it one more chance or three strikes the company is out. The first date was a total loser. The guy didn’t even work and had stolen the money from his mother to get on the site and then wanted Janice to actually pay for the date when it was over. She might have been okay with going dutch, but this isn’t what happened. He demanded she pay for everything. She did and left him one star.

The second date she was going well until after dinner when his wife showed up demanding he leave with her immediately. Supposedly she had been going through his emails and realized he was meeting his dates at the restaurant. After a few quibbles about divorce and how really loved who, the couple decided to take off and fall in love all over again while leaving Janice with the bill once again.

Now here was the third date. Janice sat quietly at the dinner table waiting for her date to arrive. She wondered where she had heard his accent from before. His voice was so smooth and sexy when they spoke over the phone and his picture, let’s just say he was the tall, dark, and handsome type. When he arrived he did not disappoint.

“You’re early!” she said with delight. The other two losers had shown up late without an excuse although she was sure the second one was probably trying to get away from his wife.

“I am! Thank you for being here, you are lovely,” he said with a perfect smile.

She blushed and thanked him and carried on with their meals. After dinner they said their goodbyes and, although she was sure he would call her again, she kissed him when he walked her home. Once inside she gave him 5 stars and a nice note: Very polite and handsome.

A few moments later her phone rang from an unknown number. It was the voice of the man she just met asking her if she wanted to go get a few drinks. She accepted and met him outside. He had already changed into some sweats and a hoodie, which seemed strange but his excuse was that he was going to go jogging after the date and would rather spend the evening with her.

Once they got to the hotel, he told her that he was staying in town over night and that he had a full bar at the hotel and that she should grab the keys while he was getting the room ready. While she thought it was odd, she really did like this new guy in her life and wanted to keep him at least until he left town again. She went inside and got the keys from the attendant. The room was already paid for and all she needed to do was to go relax.

She went inside the room and found a flute of champagne already poured with a note:

Janice, I forgot my wallet at the restaurant. I’ll be right back. Just have some champagne and relax.

The last thing she remembered was passing out on the bed after drinking the champagne. When she awoke she realized that she was in terrible pain and was freezing. Also, she was in a bathtub full of ice with a note next to her head. It read in large letters: DO NOT MOVE. YOUR KIDNEY HAS BEEN REMOVED. YOU STILL HAVE ONE LEFT BUT WE HAVE TAKEN THE OTHER. AN AMBULANCE WILL BE HERE TO PICK YOU UP AND TAKE CARE OF YOU. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATION.

The man was gone. He left no prints and all of the information he left with the dating agency and the hotel was fake.

Occurrence Number 2

An unidentified businessman was commonly known to spend the evening with a certain high class hooker that would cost him around $20,000 per night. One night he went to his usual routine but instead of getting the same woman he had been spending his evenings with for the past 2 years, he met a new woman. The woman he normally met with had dinner with her pimp before she was supposed to meet with her regular client but during dinner passed out at the table. She woke up in a hotel room of the same hotel she would normally stay at but the man was nowhere to be found. Later on she learned that he had passed away in the night. She was friends with the coroner, who happened to be another client, and he told her that when he came him to the office his heart, liver, and kidneys had all been removed. It was assumed it was a gang or drug crime because of the symbols left on the mirror and wall at the hotel.

That night the prostitute’s pimp had been found stabbed to death in the alley behind the hotel. She moved back home to the Midwest and changed her name.

Occurrence Number 3

In the early 2000s, sisters of the Brazilian mission Servants of Mary Immaculate in the country of Mozambique uncovered a large organ trafficking ring. Victims had shown them the evidence of murdered children whose organs had been sold as magical charms. Later, one of the Sisters was found beaten and strangled to death in her own home while others received death threats. No evidence was found yet the nuns claim there is a government coverup.

Occurrence Number 4

In China the wait time for an organ from a donor is much shorter than most countries but what baffles authorities in other countries is that the number of organ donations recorded in China is far more than the number of people who volunteered to be donors. Where are all of these organs coming from?

David Matas and David Kilour, two Canadian human rights activists believe there is medical genocide happening in China and no one is fessing up to the crime. They believe the Chinese government is harvesting these organs from the religious group Falun Gong, a modern spiritual group with a heavy focus on meditation and compassion. The group has been banned from China for almost 20 years by the government as it is deemed a threat. The investigators has worked hard to prove the Chinese government is guilty but the government denies anything is happening.

Occurrence Number 5

Carla del Ponte alleged that dozens of Serbian prisoners were taken captive in Kosovo by the Kosovo Liberation Army and taken to a farmhouse called the yellow house between June 1999 and May 2000 at the end of the Kosovo War. The organ of these prisoners were removed and sold. The EU launched several investigations with compelling evidence that at least 10 people had their organs removed but the Kosovo government denied the accusations and the evidence was destroyed.

Occurrence Number 6

Rabbi Levy Izhak Rosenbaum was arrested in 2009 for organ trafficking for at least a decade. He would target vulnerable Israeli men and women and offer them 10 grand for their kidneys and the sell the in the USA for up to $160,000. He pleaded guilty in 2011 for the illegal sale of human organs and only served 2 and a half years in prison. He referred to himself as the Robin Hood of kidneys.

Occurrence Number 7

In 2003 undercover police in Italy were working on drug trafficking when a group of women asked them if they wanted to bid on a pregnant prostitute’s 5 month old unborn baby. There were others in on the bid which included people willing to buy the baby for just its organs. When the baby was born, the police took the child and the women were arrested.

Occurrence Number 8

In China a mother noticed her son had a new iPhone and iPad. When she asked him how he acquired such expensive items he told her that he got them with the money he made through the sale of his kidney. After the investigation, it was found he met a man online who offered to pay him 20,000 yuan for his kidney. The man rented out the hospital room from the hospital but it is unknown who removed the kidney and the man was never found.

Occurrence Number 9

In 2015 a riot broke out at Solano State Prison which is a medium security prison in California. The riot lasted about a half hour. After the riot ended prisoner Nicholas Rodriguez was missing. About 15 hours later his body was discovered sawed in half. He was also missing most of his internal organs. No one has ever found out what happened to his missing organs.

In the United States the sale of body organs even by the body from which the organ came is illegal but in many countries such as India people can sell their own body organs. It is supposedly illegal in India to buy or sell human organs for organ transplants but a loophole allows related people to donate organs under some circumstances.

Occurrence Number 10

It was Halloween night and the guys at college were having a frat party. The college has hidden its name from this report and it has gone around so many circles that no one really knows which college it happened at. All of the participants were supposed to wear white masks and no one was to take them off. Everyone was supposed to wear a college t-shirt and jeans. This was to make it so that no one knew who they would end up with at the end of the night but the deal was that they had to go home with the person they ended up with no matter who it was. Some people left early. Those were the lucky ones and are the only ones left to tell what they know.

The party started around 7 PM. Everyone had some pizza and treats. Most were following the rules. Those who didn’t had to leave. About 10 couples ended up going home together or at least pretended to and went home alone. There were 5 couples left from the frat and sorority houses. Each couple ended up in a room and were supposed to do whatever came next. Some of them did and some just sat around and drank beer together. This we only know because when they were found by campus police, their bodies were in the same clothes they were wearing before they died.

The person who organized the party made sure that each couple ended up passed out. Some had passed out completely naked in bed while others were watching TV or just sitting around probably talking. They all had high doses of sleeping pills in their body and each body had their organs removed except for the liver. Their eyes, kidneys, and lungs were all removed. Some students do remember seeing large trucks in the area but they just figured alcohol was being delivered. When the 10 who snuck off came back in the morning they were the first to find the dead bodies.

No one has ever found the person who organized the party. They suspect he left the country or was never here in the first place and it was all set up online. The college denies it ever happened.
